Description: City Based Financial Controller £75,000 - £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits
A Global investment bank seeks to attract a ?best in class' individual to head up their Corporate Reporting and Control financial control team. Working with a top flight team, the role will entail a mixture of financial control, reporting operations, decision support and business performance management.
Key responsibilities will see you:
· Manage and develop a team of four
· Improve processes and procedures
· Take control of Balance Sheet and P&L on a UK and US GAAP basis
· General Ledger ownership and control
· Preparation of European Segmental P&L information
· Assistance with group consolidation
· Preparation of monthly senior management review commentary
· Assistance with adoption of new standards under UK & US GAAP
· Integration of new products/business lines into the reporting process
· Preparation of statutory Accounts
· Liaison with senior management
The successful candidate will be a commercially astute qualified accountant with previous experience within financial services. In addition, you will have a strong understanding of US and UK GAAP and will be able to communicate across all levels of the organisation. AM105247.
