Alex Hagger leads Marks Sattin’s Commerce and Industry division in London. With over 11 years of experience of temporary and permanent recruitment experience in London, Alex has developed industry leading market knowledge. He has an excellent track record of delivering to both PLC’s and SME’s and has developed award winning processes to make the candidate selection process more accurate and efficient.
Alex plays an active role in developing Marks Sattin’s key accounts and candidate database. He enjoys adding value to his customers through a range of value add initiatives such as executive coaching, interview training and hosting industry specific network events.
Simon Smith has over 10 years finance recruitment experience within Commerce & Industry in the UK, Asia Pac and United States and is responsible for all qualified temp, interim and contract recruitment.
Simon joined Marks Sattin in March 2011 to develop and grow the temp and contract Division to build on the market leading reputation in accountancy and finance. He has extensive relationships developed across retail, media, FMCG and the oil and gas communities.

David Hanison, who trained as a chartered Accountant at Price Waterhouse (now PwC), has been working at Marks Sattin for over ten years. He is a longstanding top billing permanent consultant for the business with a history of running campaigns for some of the biggest names in his specialist sectors of property/construction, FMCG and TMT.
David’s considerable success can be attributed to his commercial awareness and his ability to quickly and comprehensively meet the needs and wants of senior clients with regards to permanent recruitment solutions. His experience as an accountant also enables him to view and understand the recruitment process from all angles, providing a very balanced, sympathetic approach.
Warren Hilton joined Marks Sattin in 2006 as a graduate consultant and has risen through the ranks to his current position of Senior Manager. Warren has successfully placed part-qualified and qualified Accountants into retail and FMCG markets.
Warren currently focuses on the UK market at the part-qualified level and currently works successfully with Johnson and Johnson, Dune, Superdrug, Westfield, Reiss, Wolverine, American Eagle and many large PLC’s and SME’s within Commerce & Industry.
Russell Williams has over 7 years of experience of successfully recruiting finance professionals within Commerce & Industry. Russell joined Marks Sattin in 2004 where he focussed on part-qualified recruitment. He quickly moved up the ranks and now manages the qualified team, focussing on placing candidates into temporary assignments.
Russell has an excellent track record of placing junior level Accountants to Director Level on both contingency and retained assignments. Russell continues to have a pivotal role in developing a variety of client relationships with some of the leading companies in their fields, including BBC, Readers Digest, O2 and Heinz.
Oliver Lampkin, an ex-professional golfer, has successfully made the move across to finance and accountancy recruitment. Oliver joined Marks Sattin in 2006 and has built up an enviable reputation for successfully placing finance professional across the media, advertising and retail markets.
Oliver has an excellent track record of placing junior level Accountants to Director Level on both contingency and retained assignments. An excellent business developer, he has many longstanding relationships with clients who trust his ability to deliver the right candidate quickly; he has many sole agency assignments as a result with companies such as WPP, Disney, Saatchi & Saatchi and Kingfisher.
Pres Pillai joined the Marks Sattin in 2005 and has successfully moved up from a successful desk recruiting part-qualified temporary Accountants to the qualified division, where he has become one of our most successful consultants.
Pres has built up our energy and resources division, developing relationships with the likes of BP, AES and Rio Tinto, and has an impressive track record in delivering multiple hires for projects, including SAP implementations, post-merger integration and company relocations.
