When we are engaged by a client for an assignment we will prepare a ‘long-list’ of suitable candidates. This will be a mix of advertised response, our individual networks of people interviewed and legacy candidates registered with us.
The first part of our process will be an in depth telephone call to discuss the role, your skill match and career expectations. The second, an interview with one of our consultants specifically tailored for the assignment. Shortlists will then be forwarded to our client and feedback quickly forthcoming.
It is important that we get to know each other so that you are considered when assignments arise. Successful placements are made where a skills and personality match fit, which isn’t always apparent from a CV.
Fast growing Fashion Retail Company- Finance Director
Were recently mandated to recruit a Finance Director for a business that had tripled its turnover in recent years and was looking to continue expanding internationally. We provided an initial shortlist of candidates we had screened and met with and after initial meetings, a further shortlist of 3 candidates was reached where the client would have offered any of the remaining candidates.
Private Equity backed Services Business – Finance Director
We were approached by a buy-and-build Private Equity business that required a new Finance Director for its acquired business in order to help it grow but needed to bring them on board quickly due to previous incumbent having left. Due to our longstanding relationship with the client we were able to quickly target the relevant candidates for the business and source Finance Directors who would be able to start as soon as possible. He has now started in the business and all parties are very pleased with the outcome.
