Matthew Wilcox joined Marks Sattin in 2004 as a business graduate and quickly progressed to Director of our Banking and Financial Services Division. Throughout his time at Marks Sattin Matthew has worked on a variety of assignments across Financial Control, Risk and Change Management spanning the retail and investment banking, insurance and investment management markets. In 2008 he spearheaded the launch of Marks Sattin's Change Management team and has been the driving force behind its continued success.

Matthew continues to have a pivotal role in developing a variety of client relationships from small subsidiary banks to major global banking giants such as RBS, Merrill Lynch/Bank of America, Lloyds and HSBC. He has a superb track record of partnering with businesses and delivering a high value service to enable them to achieve their goals.

David Harvey has over four years experience working in financial recruitment specialising in Investment Management and Insurance, David has placed a range of candidates from qualified up to CFO/Director level within finance and middle office on an interim basis.

David is a Manager in the specialist Investment Management and Insurance Contractor team. This team has a proven track record of service delivery which now exceeds a decade. Bryan Marshall Bryan Marshall has been with Marks Sattin for a number of years having started on our graduate training programme, and currently manages both the permanent Investment Management and Insurance teams. He has a track record in placing a wealth of candidates within both industries, from newly qualified through to executive level. His particular specialisms are within the Private Equity and Real Estate markets, although his teams also have a strong offering in the Asset Management, Hedge Fund, Wealth Management and Fund Administrations spaces also, alonside the entire Insurance spectrum.

The Investment Management and Insurance teams have built their success on their detailed market knowledge and specialist candidate offerings, boasting a referral network that is unrivalled in the sector. Each dedicated consultant has a niche focus which allows them to capitalise on current market trends and affords them exposure to the most hard-to-find candidates. Simon Norris has been with Marks Sattin since February 2007, specialising in Front Office recruitment with a particular focus on Equity Research, M&A, Structured Finance and general corporate finance advisory roles. He works closely with the likes of Goldman Sachs, Clydesdale Bank, Redburn Partners and Rothschild along with numerous corporate finance boutiques.

Prior to joining Marks Sattin, Simon spent over three years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, primarily in their Business Recovery Services team. Simon currently heads up the Front Office team which covers a wide spectrum of revenue generating roles, from generalist corporate finance advisory, research and M&A through to principle investment and fund-raising roles on the buy side.

Alastair Paterson has been with Marks Sattin since 2006 after Graduating from Leeds University in Business Management. During his tenure he has worked across all of our 3 main Operating Divisions both in a Permanent and Temporary capacity. He possesses an outstanding track record in growing teams, developing client relationships and has an excellent delivery track record. Alastair heads our Permanent Banking and Capital Markets team which focuses across Core Finance, Product Control, Risk and Change Management. He is experienced in adapting to challenging requirements and providing innovative solutions to large scale recruitment campaigns.

John Quach has over 4 years recruitment experience at Marks Sattin. He initially joined Marks Sattin on the Banking & Capital Markets team where he specialised in placing candidates across the banking industry. He was placing candidates from part qualified up to director level on a contract & temporary basis. These candidates were placed in a variety of different areas including product control, reporting from both a management and financial perspective, regulatory and risk as well as change management across all functions.

Over the last year John has undertaken an internal project that has involved him setting up a team dedicated to recruiting product control on both the temporary and permanent division. The team have placed at a number of organisations including RBS, HSBC, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Lloyds Banking Group, VTB Capital, National Australia Bank, BGC Partners, Societe Generale and Ignis. The team has grown rapidly over the last year and will continue to be an excellent revenue generator for the business. He has now returned to manage the BCM team and is responsible for the growth of this team as well as maintaining the success and expansion of the product control team. The BCM team will be taking a different approach to the market with a niche focus on 2 specific area - GBM and non GBM businesses. This will allow the growth of the team across retail, brokerages & IT Finance.

Jonathan Turner has been with Marks Sattin since early 2006, placing candidates across Banking & Financial Services on an interim basis. He initially started and went on to manage the core finance banking temp team, placing qualified accountants into all areas of finance, product control and risk.

Jonathan now manages the specialized Interim Risk & Regulation team placing candidates within Market/Credit & Operational Risk, and also into compliance, governance, Liquidity and quantitative positions. This spans everything from entry level analyst through to CRO’s, both from a BAU and Change Management Perspective.

We currently recruit for the likes of BAML, RBS, HSBC, Lloyds, SCB, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan, Mizuho, Aviva, Man Group, M&G, L&G, AXA IM to name but a few.
