
My client a renowned financial institution has an Overseas opportunity in the contract market to work in a front office to back office systems reconciliation project.
They are current in the process of implementing a new inter system reconciliations process, and need a candidate with a wealth of experience in similar projects.
You will be involved in impleting, re-engineering and streamlining the systems.
Other tasks will include;
§ Front- vs. Backoffice balances from various systems (e.g. Sophis, MUREX, Kondor+ vs. depotbestand, BOAT)
§ Clarify and report the differences to the relevant departments
§ Follow up to ensure that reconciliation breaks not cleared within an appropriate timescale are further escalated and reported
Requirements
§ 7 + years previous experience in Investment Banking (Mid- or Backoffice) including knowledge of the IB product
§ Knowledge of investment bank Frontoffice and Backoffice Systems (e.g. Sophis / Murex / Kondor+ / HOST / SPS)
§ Strong MS Office knowledge (professional with Access and Excel
§ Ability to prioritise and handle stress
§ Analytical approach to problem solving
§ Teamplayer
