Assistant Accountant 22-27K

A leading service based company in York is looking to expand their finance team by adding an Assistant Accountant due to internal promotion. This is a superb opportunity to join a well known business with a large finance team and genuine prospects to progress in the future.

As the Assistant Accountant you will be joining a busy and fast paced finance team reporting to the Finance Manager. The role will be varied but key responsibilities will include preparation of budgets and forecasts, management accounts, analytical reviews and liaising with directors across a number of departments providing financial analysis.

You will need to be a part qualified CIMA/ACCA candidate with previous management accounts experience. It is essential that you can communicate across all levels and present information to senior mangers along with strong system skills in particular Excel spreadsheets.
