A leading Global Fuel Oil Trading Organisation is now recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their growing finance team.

The Main responsibilities include:

• Multi-currency Bank Reconciliations.
• Monthly AP and AR reconciliations and counterparty circularisation.
• General Ledger maintenance and reconciliations as required.
• Posting invoices to the ledgers, manual invoicing as required.
• Cash receipts and payments.
• Assistance with quarterly VAT returns.
• General Ledger work and reconciliations as required.
• Assistance with monthly reporting.
• Intercompany accounting.
• Expenses processing.
• Updating the Trading System.

The ideal candidate will be studying ACCA or CIMA. The client is looking for a well organised, team player with a strong attention to detail. Being able to work hard under pressure is fundamental.
