A leading publisher based in Central London is currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious part-qualified accountant who wants to pursue a career in management accounts.

Reporting into the Management Accountant your main responsibilities will include extracting, compiling, and assessing trial balances from supporting ledgers, reconciling between groups of accounts and assisting in producing management accounts You will be looking at daily cash balance reports and monthly cash actual reports, monthly bank recs and maintaining monthly recurring journals. Experience within a transactional setting is ideal to give you and understanding of the full process.

You will currently be studying a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent). Furthermore, strong communication skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles are essential.
