We are currently recruiting an Assistant Tax Accountant on behalf of a global Insurance business in Hampshire. This role would suit either a candidate with corporate tax experience from Practice, a candidate with a mixed tax experience currently in industry or even someone without prior tax experience but with an interest in moving into a tax role.

Reporting to the UK Head of Tax, key responsibilities include:

* To prepare for review, the calculation and reporting of periodic tax provisions
* Prepare tax analyses and reports to support tax provisions
* Maintain tax accounting records and perform balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist with information required for VAT returns
* Prepare quarterly tax payments

The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent qualification). There is a relatively wide salary banding in order to capture candidates with varied experience, but it's important that you You will be an ambitious individual with strong communication skills and an ability to grasp concepts quickly.
