Business Analyst

South Manchester

A leading organisation based in South Manchester are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual with a keen analytical mind who is comfortable driving business change.

Reporting straight into the Managing Director, the successful applicant will be understanding the needs of the business by analysing, validating and documenting the business and system requirements. Utilising this information you will be proactively researching products, procedures and work-flow needs in order to improve the overall performance of the business.

Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • To effectively generate and analyse key data about the company, the group and individual performance. Weekly KPI's to be produced and presented to the management team.
  • Analyse tenure on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare analysis of material commercial proposals, identifying profitability and subsequently tracking performance with early warning indicators.
  • Track headcount to metrics ratios for the business to support headcount change decisions
  • Review key expenses and completeness of revenues streams in terms of anticipated revenue vs actual
  • Proactively research products, procedures, and/or work-flow needs and identify ways to capture, validate and integrate information to improve overall business process performance.
  • Ad hoc reviews of market and competitor information.

In order to be considered it is essential you have the following:

  • Experience of working as a Business Analyst in a financial setting.
  • Experience of working with business stakeholders to develop business cases, elicit requirements and drive process efficiencies, using recognized methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Experience across the full project life-cycle within both structured and agile project environments.

The business are looking for someone with the ability to develop sustainable relationships with business stakeholders and be able to work well under pressure.
