Our client, a large successful PLC and a sought after employer, has a requirement for a Distribution Finance Manager. Your remit will be to provide professional advice to the Distribution area of the business, proving a crucial 'business partner' approach to the Business Performance Manager and other members of the Senior Management Team. the individual will work across the distribution network and the customers to enhance supply chain procedures and maximise performance. Reporting to senior management, you will analyse the performance of the distribution p&l, ensuring timeframes are set and met to ensure optimum efficiency and cost reduction. You will make recommendations for supply chain improvements, project manage changes and implement solutions for inefficiencies and areas of process improvement. You will also demonstrate and extend the role into assessing all aspects of the supply chain and communication of all financial information produced by the department. Ideally you will be a qualified accountant of very high calibre, with excellent analytical experience, a commercial finance type background, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. A great opportunity to join an established and growing organisation. You will be qualified (CIMA?ACA?ACCA) with strong academics, ideally have either FMCG, retail, or distribution/ supply chain experience
