The Counterparty Bank Analyst role is based within Client Services

The role of the Counterparty Bank Analyst is to facilitate the collection, rationalisation and collation of data to support a programme of counterparty exits with the bank's network. This will involve understanding the candidates for exit, reviewing transactions in-flight, reviewing historic trade volumes, recording all necessary data to support decision making, and submitting accurate returns. Much of the data is excel based, and a sound grasp of this programme will be required.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. data analysis
  • Both spoken and written communication skills
  • The ability to use computer programmes effectively, i.e. excel
  • Ability to work under pressure, and then remain productive in periods of down time
  • Familiarity with working with offshore teams
  • Experience of personally complying with business processes, rules and regulations
