Our client is an exciting international business who are in the middle of an exciting journey. They are currently looking for a Senior Tax Specialist with a broad range of experiences/interest to take on this unique in-house role. The role can be looked at as a long term contract, permanent or Temporary to Permanent basis. This new position will deal with Employment Taxes, Expat Tax, VAT and Corporation Tax. As this is an unusual mix they are looking for a candidate who is strong in as many of the Tax areas as possible, with all of them being ideal. This position reports to the Head of International Tax

The successful candidate will be expected to play a significant part into some significant and vital VAT, Expat and Employment Tax projects - that would be end to from bringing planning ideas to the organisation to the setup up and optimisation

You will also be expected to participate and support in the implementation of incentive plans, dealing with HMRC related correspondence and bringing benchmarked ideas and planning opportunities to the organisation.

You will have significant client facing and advisory experience in relation to either of the above taxes. the individual will have a strong desire to proactively grow their tax technical knowledge and network and play a key contribution to get the Tax function to where it needs to be.

The role would suit a tax professional currently working in practice or in-house that is very commercially aware, is proven to be able to build relationships across business and work effectively with external advisors. You will have a strong UK tax background, not only in Employment Tax but also experience within VAT and Corporate Tax.
