One of the world's leading Insurance Underwriters, based in the city, is looking for an Expense Reporting Accountant within its Financal Assurance team. This role will be heavily involved in the planning and reporting processes of the IT & Change Management teams, whilst continuously engaging in client functionality and month end reporting. You may be required to assist in the development of technical accounting solutions around balance sheet management as well as budgeting and forecasting for the division.
Given the nature of the role it is essential that you have a wealth of exposure to financial planning within an insurance/underwriting environment. You are likely to have gained a formal accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA), or equivalent, and you should be able to demonstrate an advanced understanding of excel- including macros and some VBA knowledge. Experience of working with Oracle or TM1 is desirable but not essential.
