Finance Director

A large non departmental public body is seeking an experienced individual for the permanent role of Finance Director.
The successful candidate will report into the CEO and manage a finance division of thirty staff.
Key skills include: -
- Developing and implementing financial strategy and policy for the business
- Managing key to day relationships with the associated government department
- Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial and management accounting information and analysis
- -Ensuring the consistency of financial controls and accounting standards
- Producing detailed reports into financial performance for all stakeholders
- Managing the external audit process
- Interacting closely with the director of risk and the chief executive to sign off on major initiatives and provider contracts
It is imperative that the successful candidate is fully ACCA or ACMA qualified and has previous experience of working in a similar role.
