Finance Manager

Our client, a cross border insurance organisation based here in Dublin is actively recruiting for a Finance Manager. The purpose of this role is to control the day to day activities of the finance department and to provide financial and management information to senior management as required.

Deliverables

• Responsible for all monthly, quarterly and year end closings including the year end audit and preparation of internal management reports
• Responsible for the preparation of weekly/monthly internal management reports including cashflow
• Co-ordinate budget and financial forecasting activities
• Ensure that all budget variances are investigated and corrective actions initiated
• Ensure strong financial control environment exists at all times
• Review existing processes and procedures and introduce improvements where appropriate
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax and actuarial advisers etc to ensure effective services are provided at efficient cost.
• Ensure that all regulatory, tax and statistical returns are submitted on a timely basis
  Provide financial support to business units

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years PQE
• Insurance industry experience is essential
• Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good relationship building skills both internal and external
• Experience of presentations to senior management

Package

• Base salary of circa €70,000 - €80,000
• Pension, Annual Bonus, VHI
• Company Parking
