Broad and business facing role for a dual Italian/English speaker at this well known Global Financial Services company. With interests in retail and investment banking, asset management and insurance, this company is a well known organisation with a down to earth and relaxed working culture. This newly created role would suit someone with a financial reporting background and the ability to speak Italian to a conversation or fluent level. This role is based in a subsidiary business (reporting directly to the CEO) with the broader London finance team c30 people.

Responsibilities will include:

- Asset accounting; capitalisation, depreciation, monthly checks and reconciliations
- Oversight and checking of monthly payroll, expenses, AP, AR (this is all handled by a shared service finance team in head office)
- Financial accounting, reporting and legal entity control
- VAT and corporate tax reporting
- Supporting senior management with value adding management information and analysis
- Ad hoc project work as required

Your background:

- At least 3 to 4 years or equivalent experience in a broad financial/management accounting role in a medium to large sized company. Financial services experience would be helpful but is not essential.
- Conversational or fluent spoken and written Italian
- Formal accounting qualifications would be helpful but aren't essential
- Some exposure to IFRS

Salary is £40-50,000 plus benefits and bonus
