Reporting in to the Reporting Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the accuracy of the Balance Sheet and P&L through the oversight of journal and accrual posting from the Shared Service Centre
• Reviewing of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensuring month-end processes are completed with efficiency and accuracy
• Production of statutory accounts and tax reporting with a strong understanding of IFRS
• Provide key technical accounting expertise and identify and implement process improvements in order to streamline existing procedures

The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA) or equivalent with an education to degree level (or equivalent). You will have a strong understanding of IFRS accounting and have strong motivation towards improving existing processes. You will possess excellent communication skills in order to build and maintain effective relationships across the business. A previous working knowledge of SAP & Hyperion is desirable but not essential.
