Financial Analyst

A leading global insurance broker is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to come on board and work in a commercial environment. This is an exciting opportunity with a wide range of responsibilities on offer;
Production of key monthly and quarterly reports, presentations and analysis. This involves the collation of data from all regional offices, review and analysis of data and preparation of reports and presentation materials. Reporting format is generally comparatives to budget, forecast and prior year.
Preparation of monthly forecast and detailed annual budget, presentation of budgets to senior management, and identification of associated opportunities and risks.
Chair the monthly UK business financial review meetings, providing relevant MI and communicating clearly monthly movements and variances.
Assist Management in the production of the annual strategic business plan.
Past experience has shown that the most successful candidate in this role will have a formal accounting qualification (e.g. ACMA) or equivalent. You should have demonstrated strong financial planning and analysis experience as well as the ability to work with large amounts of data. A strong academic and analytical background will undoubtedly put you in strong contention here also, as will strong systems skills.
