This fantastic SME organisation is currently looking to recruit its first Financial Controller to provide effective control and guidance to the business as it continues to grow. Working closely with the Managing Director you will be supporting the strategic growth through regular engagement of the board as well as working closely with a number of business unit managers.

In the role, you will be responsible for:-

  • Supporting the Managing Director with on-going profit and loss and cash flow forecasts along with annual budget preparation for all companies and business units Implementing effective processes and controls.
  • Work closely with the IT team to ensure effective reports can be produced
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the department and carry out regular 1-1s with the finance team to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Liaison with Bank, Auditors and Professional advisors
  • Control of day to day cash flow

To be considered for the role, you will have a proven background of working in a fast paced accounts department. Ideally you will have started an accounts qualification AAT, CIMA, ACCA or ACA but this is not a pre-requisite of the position.

You will also have good systems exposure and a proactive approach to working. This truly is the perfect opportunity to make an impact on a business and fully revolutionise the way this business runs its accounts department.
