A well renowned FMCG company based in Berkshire is looking for a Financial Controller to support their Financial Director. A market leader in branded household favourites, this company has a strong presence within the UK having offices in various locations across the UK. Role Responsibilities:

• Establish and monitor internal controls and procedures.
• Continuous review and improvement of business processes, with a strong emphasis on cost control.
• Provision of management accounts, including balance sheet and cash flow.
• Lead the effective operation and delivery of day-to-day financial controls and processes.
• Analysis of cash flow performance and working capital against budget and medium term forecasts.
• Delivery of statutory accounts.
• Improvement and development of internal management reports in line with the ongoing growth of business.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with proven ability to maintain and improve financial controls in business going through significant change. Experience of managing a finance team within a FMCG environment is of upmost importance. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others at all levels within the organisation. On a personal level, the candidate should be a highly motivated and hard working individual with the ability to think critically and solve problems quickly.
