A leading research-based pharmaceuticals company in Buckinghamshire is looking for a Financial Controller to join their highly successful team. This organisation is at the forefront of clinical investment and manufacturing innovative treatments for some of the world's most important medical needs.

The role will typically involve:
· Line management of a small team of direct reports.
· Ensuring compliance of all financial reporting with internal standards and UK GAAP.
· Review and approve Journal Entries and Accruals.
· Review statutory accounts and oversee the audit process.
· Supervision of corporation tax and legal reporting.
· Supervision of Accounts Payable activities.
· Review Profit & Loss accounts.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA) with strong technical accounting skills within a commercial environment, solid Audit experience from the Big 4 and small team management. Pharmaceuticals experience would be advantageous.
