An exciting and sought after opportunity has arisen within a rapidly growing leading global FMCG company as a General Ledger Accountant to be part of an established team. This group of highly talented professional accountants have been set up to with the complex task of ensuring that transactions of a business have been properly accounted for and accurately reflect the company's accounting process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inter-company invoicing, reconciliation and query resolution
  • Monthly VAT returns
  • Monthly reconciliation and analysis of general ledger balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare statutory accounts under US GAAP
  • Month end close
  • Assist in preparation of annual budget
  • Assist in corporate tax returns
  • Assist in internal and external audit etc.
  • Set up new balance sheet reconciliations
  • Reconciling GL liability accounts including Notes Payable, Accounts Payable, Customer Deposits and Accrued Expense 

We are looking for Qualified Accountants (ACA/CIMA equivalent) who have experience within FMCG or a related business .You will be working within a multinational organisation or a reputable firm. The team needs a professional, strong communicator looking for a complex role in which they can carry out detailed transactional analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts.
