The grants funding portfolio is central to all that Wellcome Trust does, and the Grants Finance Analyst is responsible for the provision of financial insight for the portfolio. You will be responsible for forecasting of commitment and cashflow charitable activity budgets of £500-600 million per year.
Key Duties: - Preparation and analysis of commitment and cashflow charitable activity budgets of £500-600 million per year.- Business planning and forecasting across a range of short, medium and long term grant funded projects - Key finance liaison person to the Trust's largest funding division (Science Funding).for grant budget management. - Quarterly reporting of grant related financial information to the Executive Board and Science Funding Management Team.- Responsible for the statutory and management accounting of grant activities.
What the Wellcome Trust is looking for?You will be CCAB qualified ideally with 2+ years post qualification experience. The role will require someone with the ability to communicate, and work with, senior management and non-accounting heads of department. Strong technical and commercial accounting skills combined with an analytical mind and eye for detail are also essential to the role.
