Group Finance Director

Our client is a leading operator and developer of specialist care homes, backed by one of the UK's leading mid-market private equity firms. In 2011, the organisation experienced considerable growth with a dynamic roll out plan anticipated for 2012. The company now seeks an ambitious Finance Director with a proven track record to join a successful and experienced management team.

This is a well-rounded and commercial Finance Director role with overall responsibility for finance across the Group.

You will have demonstrable experience of implementing systems, processes and controls, as due to the aforementioned growth, the senior management team will need to utilise these systems to track progress and hit targets.

You should possess sound commercial skills and be comfortable negotiating contracts and reviewing all spending controls taking place across the organisation.

The role will work closely with the Managing Directors to provide accurate and informative management information enabling the management team to reach decisions.

You will be a skilled communicator when liaising with both Investors and Banks and reporting to the Shareholders.

The successful candidate will also possess a flair for property management in terms of rental targets, housing costs and the rationalisation of the businesses Housing portfolio. This varied role will also see you reviewing IT systems and overseeing HR and Training moving.

The successful candidate will be a Chartered Accountant having operated in a variety of industries, preferably Healthcare, or from a multi-site, Leisure or Recruitment background. You will have experience of working in a private equity environment and understand the rigours of leverage backed entities.
