Group Financial Controller

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Group Financial Controller to join a PLC business based inLeedson a temporary to permanent basis. The role of Group Financial Controller will require you to assist the company though their year end process, production of statutory accounts, group consolidations, VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations and work closely with the auditors. The role also requires someone with the ability to manage a small team and who has previous experience of working on ad hoc projects such as streamlining processes, analysis of production costs and processes and improving systems. This role requires an ACA qualified accountant with an audit background who has some industry experience. You must have strong technical accounting experience and be able to hit the ground running in terms of the year. Candidates must be able to work under their own initiative and be looking for a challenging and exciting environment to work in. You must be immediately available to be considered for this role.
