Due to a recent merger within the business an opportunity has arisen for a group reporting accountant to join this FTSE 100 company on an initial 12 month contract. As Group Reporting Accountant you will be required to deliver statutory reports under IFRS and USGAAP, provide consolidated business mangement information for internal and external reporting, monthly consolidated accounts, support the group consolidated forecasting and budgeting process and other ad hoc projects as required. Due to the changes in the business there will be a number of key projects that you will be involved in. This role requires a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA or CPA) ideally from an audit background. You must have experience of using either Cognos or Cognos Controller. This is a great opportunity to work for a truly global business and there is the potential for the role to go permanent after the 12 months.
