
We are currently looking for a Head of Change (PMO), to lead, inspire and embed a culture of excellence within a leading Financial Institution.
The successful candidate will lead a global team of up to 15 change professionals, setting-up and embedding Programme Management, Design, Assurance and Specialist Change Skills frameworks. Matrix responsibility for these aspects across entire global change team of c70 FTEs. You will be individually accountable for defining the target state of effective global Programme Management, identifying gaps and shortfalls, deploying specialist change skills and leading an improvement programme to achieve target state.
Responsibilities include;
- Lead a team of up to 15 PMO professionals globally, ensuring consistent adoption of standards and methodology.
- Day to day management of the global Programme Management Office, including risk management, performance, planning & dependencies.
- Monitor, track and report on the overall project portfolio. Consolidate project financial data, investigate variances; associated financial analysis/monitoring. Track and report project resource utilisation.
- Timely preparation of clear and impactful Exco and functional level presentations, updates and other status reporting in line with Governance
- Developing and maintaining a holistic rolling view of change affecting the business, including the dependencies between projects and a schedule of overall programme level activity.
- Provide robust but pragmatic guidance to the business on business cases and governance and actively seeking to simplify complexity for the business
- Oversight and leverage of ongoing Business Process Management activity to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency or customer experience.
Candidates are encouraged to apply if they show demonstrable experience of providing portfolio management and assurance for a range of complex and international change programmes. You must have a solid track record of operating at Programme Manager level in a change leadership role. You will have strong Business Consulting skills (e.g. communication, facilitation, presentation) coupled with detailed and practical knowledge of Change leadership and its application.
