An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Group Financial Reporting Manager to join a well known global media business on an initial 12 month contract. As Group Financial Reporting Manager you will be responsible for managing a large team and be responsible for all month end close activities including balance sheet control, group reporting and management accounting. The role will be reporting into a Shared Service centre and so will oversee P2P, OTC and R2R activities. You will be tasked with managing all financial accounting activities and leading and developing the team. You will oversee the production of the annual statutory accounts, work with key stakeholders within the group financial and management accounts teams to ensure strong controls and compliance, ensure continuous improvement of the companies management accounts process by identify any common trends and issues and also add value to a number of key projects within the business. The role requires a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA) with a strong reporting background. You will be a leader and be able to build strong internal relationships. Previous experience of working on projects and working in a large complex business are also required. This is an urgent requirement so to be considered you must be either immediately available or available at short notice.
