Interim Head of Financial Accounting required for a 12 month maternity cover based in Central London. The role will require you to manage a small team in order to oversee the day to day activities for billing, collections, purchase ledger and payroll. You will have full ledger control and will be required to ensure IFRS accounting standards are met. You will be required to prepare consolidated group statutory accounts and to work closely with the auditors and manage the annual audit process. The role will require you to manage the month end process and ensure deadlines are met. The role will oversee reporting for 12 different countries across the group. To be considered you must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA, CPA or ACMA) and have strong leadership experience. An ability to ensure strong controls are place is also required. It is absolutely imperative that you have worked in a global business and have had exposure to multi-currency. You must also be a confident individual who has the ability to interact with senior stakeholders. This is an urgent requirement so candidates must be either immediately available or available at short notice.
