My client is a top 10 advisory firm who has recently acquired the Public Sector arm of a large global consultancy and is looking to recruit a number of Internal Auditors within their Public Sector group.

Your client portfolio will consist:

  • Education: universities, colleges, and schools
  • Central government departments and NDPBs
  • Police and crime commissioners
  • Local authority
  • NHS organisations
  • Social housing organisation

Working in this division, you will be responsible for delivering a risk based internal Audit as well as Assistance on other special assignments (e.g. fraud investigations, effectiveness review)

There are a number of roles at varying levels including:

  1. Trainee (Part Qualified accountants with IA experience)
  2. Audit Senior (Qualified Internal Auditors usually with 3 + years IA experience)
  3. Assistant Manager ( Qualified Internal Auditors usually with supervisory experience)

To be considered for the role you will ideally be training for or already have a professional qualification such as IIA, ACA, ACCA or CIPFA. You will have exposure working within a controls based environment and have strong written and verbal communicational skills.
