Start your job searchMy client is a top 10 advisory firm who has recently acquired the Public Sector arm of a large global consultancy and is looking to recruit a number of Internal Auditors within their Public Sector group.
Your client portfolio will consist:
- Education: universities, colleges, and schools
- Central government departments and NDPBs
- Police and crime commissioners
- Local authority
- NHS organisations
- Social housing organisation
Working in this division, you will be responsible for delivering a risk based internal Audit as well as Assistance on other special assignments (e.g. fraud investigations, effectiveness review)
There are a number of roles at varying levels including:
- Trainee (Part Qualified accountants with IA experience)
- Audit Senior (Qualified Internal Auditors usually with 3 + years IA experience)
- Assistant Manager ( Qualified Internal Auditors usually with supervisory experience)
To be considered for the role you will ideally be training for or already have a professional qualification such as IIA, ACA, ACCA or CIPFA. You will have exposure working within a controls based environment and have strong written and verbal communicational skills.
