Start your job searchMarks Sattin is currently recruiting for a leading Financial Services client who is looking to secure an Internal Audit Manager. This is a prime role for someone who is passionate about leading a team and coaching junior members of staff.
You will have primarily responsibility for executing audits to support the delivery of the annual audit plan. Being a key contact for multiple stakeholders you will be providing assurance to senior management and the Board through a combination of internal audit reviews, follow up of agreed management actions and ad hoc reviews of first and second line control activities.
In the role you will be:-
- Participate in preparing the delivery plan for specific audits
- Represent Internal Audit on internal committees and providing subject matter expertise to clients relating to controls, policy, procedures and processes.
- Manage the on-going audit communications
- Delivering internal audit engagements from an independent and objective perspective.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships by effectively communicating and regularly sharing information.
- Maintain the third line of compliance defence by ensuring individual adherence to business processes and procedures.
- Ensuring regulatory standards set out in the relevant FCA rules and guidance
- Maintain the third line of defence by operating risk controls assigned to the individual
You will be fully ACA, CIMA, ACCA or IIA qualified and have excellent experience delivering risk based audits. Working in a highly rewarding environment with a business that has undergone fundamental change in how the deliver audits, you will be rewarded with unprecedented career development.
