Credit Controller

Job Specification.

This position will report to the Credit Control Manager.

Candidate must be highly confident and have a lively character with enthusiastic personality.

Possess excellent communications and inter-personal skills, at all levels

Working on own initiative & as part of a team

Maintaining high quality, and demonstrating organisational and time management skills.

About the Person

• Previous credit control experience within the recruitment industry is not essential but preferred.
• Experience dealing with tax authorities to request WHT documents and other forms preferred
• Experience dealing with APAC clients would be an advantage
• Ability to speak a foreign language (French or German preferred) is a plus but not essential
• A Professional, hardworking self-starter, who understands the commercial and financial aspect of Spencer Ogden and the Industry itself.
• Someone who can support their Team members and the Business as a whole.
• A Team Player who can also work on their own initiative.
• To Manage specific sections of client account's appearing on the individual Sales ledgers within the Group, and recover cash for Invoices due within agreed payment terms.
• To facilitate a high level of cash-flow and minimize levels of overdue debt and risk

Working Relationships

You will work as a member of the Financial Accounting team and as such will have interaction with Sales/Compliance/Back Office Departments throughout the Group.

• Ability to start early (6.30 am on some days or 7.30) but early finish
