The International Director of Finance will support the CFO in both financial and non-financial aspects of running the business and be a true business partner to this worldwide organisation. As International Director of Finance you will have a worldwide team of 20 people, with teams operating across numerous time zones, thus you will be adept in dealing with facets of the business in multiple time zones, and manage this accordingly. You will be able to handle multiple tasks independently prioritising where necessary, and operate at a senior level both internally and externally.
The successful candidate will be able to constantly look beyond straight accounting and at some operational areas of the business. Reporting into the Group CFO you will be responsible for all international divisions and the Group Financial Controller. Your understanding and knowledge of tax and transfer pricing will be put to use in this truly global role. Our client requires a hands on, commercial, best in class individual, who is on a steep upwards curve in their career. As qualified accountant, preferably ACA, you will have some accounting experience in a structured environment, but able to work in a more freeform position. With significant PQE, you will bring with you a strong academic background and a history of working in fast-paced blue chip environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant looking to grow into a CFO role in the short term.
