International Banking group requires a talented Programme Manager to lead global project teams of up to 15 change professionals, which deliver key functional/divisional strategy components. The Programme Manager will be responsible for managing the relationship with a variety of senior stakeholders across the Division and wider Group, liaising directly with executive project sponsors of the programmes / projects they are leading.
Key Responsibilities;
- Accountable for managing the end to end project life cycle of at least 2 of the Divisions larger change programmes with combined investment spend up to c£15-20m.- Ensure projects are managed and delivered against client expectations; including timely delivery, achieving stated deliverables and realisation of target benefits.- Ambassador for continuous improvement and lean, actively seeking out and recommending opportunities to apply CI / lean techniques to improve customer experience or efficiency, and then implementing through the project.- Provide robust but pragmatic guidance to the business on business cases and governance and actively seeking to simplify complexity for the business.- As part of the senior change community, responsibility for building project teams of highly motivated staff with appropriate levels of technical and management skills and experience- Responsible for coaching talent, actively seeking out development opportunities across regions/functions for staff and helping create a dynamic and agile global resource pool.
To be considered for this position, you must be well versed in Project Definition, Holistic Design, Understanding Requirements and Business Cases. This role would suit someone who has demonstrable experience of LEAN/Six Sigma Programme Management within a leading International Bank. This team operates in a global capacity and as such, candidates must be prepared to travel when needed. Prince 2 and an accreditation in LEAN/Six Sigma would be preferred.
