Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnered with a large business in the distribution industry in their search for an Assistant Accountant.

This exciting opportunity offers someone the chance to work under the Finance Director and support with the development of the finance function, at their site in Bradford.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and posting month end journals
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Submitting weekly profit and cash flow forecasts
• Balance sheet preparation and reconciliation
• Weekly reconciling the bank accounts
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Supporting the purchase ledger department
• Assisting with processing ledger receipts

We are looking for an ambitious character with a desire to learn and progress themselves, through studying towards AAT/CIMA/ACCA, someone who has good IT skills, likes to work in a fast-paced environment and is a strong communicator.

Salary on offer is up to £28,000 DOE plus study support.
