An internationally recognised Manufacturing organisation is looking for a talented Operations Accountant to become part of a newly developing team. The company boasts a large portfolio of market leading products supported by a rich history of success. This exciting fast-paced position will be key in forming an established and successful finance team and would ideally suit an individual looking to develop alongside dedicated professionals.
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner your responsibilities will include:
- Providing insight in the delivery of the financial planning process
- Completion of the monthly management accounts and KPI information with efficiency and accuracy
- Partner with site teams to investigate and understand variances to forecast and potential opportunities
- Support the quarterly forecasting and budgeting processes as well as supporting capital investment and business case appraisals
The ideal candidate will be a part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) and in the process of their studies. You will be a motivated individual and possess a desire to achieve best in class results. The nature of the role requires strong communication skills in order to liaise with members across the site. An understanding of SAP is highly desirable with a strong understanding of Excel (Pivotables/Vlookups) essential.
