A fast growth Healthcare company in the Greater Manchester Area is currently looking for a Payroll Assistant to join their leading team. This is a 6 month temp position that will turn into a permanent role after demonstrating a genuine interest and a strong working attitude. The company is a large, multi-site organisation that operates over hundreds of sites across the UK and therefore the purpose of this role is to help provide a full payroll service to a large amount of employees after continued success and expansion.

Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible, but not limited to:

• Controlling starter and sickness process with the Payroll function
• Managing HMRC notifications
• Producing an accurate and timely Payroll service.
• Providing an effective and timely resolution to all Payroll users- internal/external

A minimum of 3 years current Payroll experience with a large number of employees (1500 minimum is essential for this position. Good communication, confidence and organisation skills are also needed in order to work in this fast-paced, team environment.
