Start your job searchOur client, a house hold name based in Hull requires a Planning and Performance Analyst for a 9 month contract. You will be responsible for the investigation and explanation of all material variances linked to activities and events when analysing actual, forecast, planned performance against prior actuals, forecast and/or plan data. You will take the lead and manage the routine, accurate and large data flow of actual, forecast and plan with management information requirements for the business. Managing the expectations of business financial performance and accounting treatments is key; explaining variances in a clear and concise manner to senior management, sometimes with negative connotations to Senior Management. To meet deadlines and key goals, they will engage proactively and influence key stakeholders to meet deadlines with data/commentary requests, especially around the preparation of the GFO and annual plan.
You will play an active role in business management processes using Management Information (MI) for driving challenge and change that enables the business to take corrective actions to continuously improve performance. In addition, be able to articulate the businesses performance linked as a continuum to the strategy, plans, activities and events that drive financial outcomes
