The Role: Research production Administrator

Seeking a helpful self-starter who is a good time-keeper and is happy to assist in the production of high-quality research that they will distribute directly to clients and to work closely with the Research Editor and Head of Research, dealing with day-to-day enquiries from analysts and ensuring that research output is of the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Morning Meeting & Related Procedures

  • Compile and manage the morning meeting agenda
  • Edit all morning comments
  • Compile and publish the post morning meeting bulletin and upload to TPV
  • Upload published research to third-party vendors (TPV)
  • Distribute hard-copy research to sales, trading, etc
  • Maintain research output log
  • Assist the Research Team where required

Admin

  • Organising sales briefings
  • Diary management for the Head of Research
  • Management of the CRM system and intranet
  • Maintain entitlement request on Bloomberg, Factset, Thomson Reuters and website
  • Update distribution lists/CRM with leavers and new requests
  • Compile Events and Earnings calendar
  • Taking minutes
  • Adhoc printing of presentations

Marketing

  • Respond to press/PR enquiries
  • Work closely with analysts to ensure the smooth running of sector conferences including booking suitable conference venue and liaising with venue staff from time of booking to actual conference, keeping control of costs, liaise with speakers' PAs, manage invitation mailing list and attendees lists, etc.

Production/formatting of reports

  • Working alongside the research editor to ensure all reports are formatted to company guidelines
  • Creation and management of distribution mailing lists
  • Assist with the creation of PowerPoint content for research reports
  • Formatting of charts in analysts' spreadsheets
  • Preparing reports for print and distribution
  • Formatting and printing analysts presentations for meetings

Essential Experience

  • Detail orientated
  • Reliable
  • Hours 7am-4pm
  • Knowledge of word, excel and PowerPoint essential, experience of uploading files to the web preferred
