Senior Business Analyst - London - International Bank - Asset Classes - Risk

Our client, a leading international bank currently requires an experienced Business Analyst to join an established team within their Risk Division. The role assignment will initially consist of supporting the on-boarding and delivery against several projects within a booking and risk engine programme. This programme will cover risk generation (FO, market risk, credit risk), trade management, market data, static data and integration and controls.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Building global relationships with both the business and technology teams to translate and document business requirements
  • Collaborating with Front office Stakeholders
  • Gathering requirements and providing business solutions
  • Working across asset classes FX, Rates, Credit and Commodities
  • Assist with UAT including planning, preparation and test case preparation
  • Indentify risks and issues early and communicate with Project Managers and other Business Analysts within the team

The successful incumbent will be able to offer the following skills:

  • Front Office exposure is essential
  • Knowledge of derivatives across asset classes; including pricing, risk analytics and trade life cycle
  • Ability to work across business streams and exposure to front-to-back system implementation
  • Understanding of technology concepts, basic understanding of SQL useful
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and analytical skills
  • Ability to translate and document business needs into functional requirements
