Senior Internal Audit Consultant

A market leading Investment Bank has created an exciting new position within its audit function. They are seeking a proven senior consultant who has extensive audit experience in investment management.

The role will be positioned within the internal audit function which main aim is to ensure compliance with pertinent laws and regulations. They will develop control solutions and monitor the implementation of control measures. The team assists the Board of Directors' Audit Committee in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities and will be required to regularly interact with the independent external auditors.

The main duties held will include:
§ Planning, scoping and executing risk based audits
§ Understanding the business and technology processes and identifying the key risks and controls to be assessed
§ Preparing the audit testing program and assessing the adequacy of the design associated with the key risks identified
§ Assessing the risks and impact identified during audits and report these to senior management

The successful candidate must have:
§ A professional qualification: ACA qualified (preferred)
§ 5+ years of relevant experience of auditing the Asset Management business
§ Extensive stakeholder management experience
§ Led and run independent audits
