A Leading City based Bank is looking to acquire a Senior Manager to focus on their Financial Crime Advisory piece.

The role will be leading the UK Advisory side of Financial Crime, supporting and advising the business on new policy, news and incidents.

The main purpose of the role is to:

- Leads the delivery of Financial Crime Advisory support to the UK business in relation, to: new and existing clients, FC related risks, issues and incidents, the application of business Policy, changes in the law/business policy, the development of new products and procedures etc. Facilitates the obtaining of a second opinion as required/appropriate from business Policy Team, Legal Department, etc on complex issues.

- Provides constructive challenge to the business in relation to their compliance with Policy.

- Advises the first and second lines on the appropriate quality control and assurance frameworks needed to test and evidence compliance against key FC controls.

- Leads the Regional FC team in the delivery of its BAU and project related activities.

- Support the development of a clear FC strategy both within the business, and the FC function.

- Lead (as appropriate) the planning, scoping and execution of key SLOD initiatives.

- Represent the FC function at key Regional Governance Meetings and engagement with local

regulators/auditors as required. .

- Active participation, collaboration and support for the wider FC Advisory Team.

- Oversight/delivery of ad-hoc quality assurance work as required by the Head of FC Advisory.

- Key FC Risks/issues/breaches are escalated in a timely fashion to key stakeholders, and appropriate support is subsequently provided in relation to the technical/best practice elements of resolution/remediation.

- Key stakeholders are fully kept aware of the Regional Heads assessment of current compliance/issues, and an effective working relationship is maintained between FLOD and SLOD.

- Changes in Group Policy, Local Law and practice ere effectively positioned with the business, and clear steps agreed to implement a fully compliant operating model.
