Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a new tax specialist to join the in-house tax team of one of their major subsidiaries. With principal responsibility for delivering advice on all direct and indirect tax matters, you'll also interact with a range of stakeholders across the business including Group HO and the wider tax function. You will manage all payments, receipts and tax accounting for the UK, ensuring continued robust processes, and direct management of a team of 6.

The successful candidate will likely be degree educated; qualified (ACA / ACCA / CTA); with detailed accounting, corporation tax and VAT knowledge. A working knowledge of cash management, payments services and/or treasury would be highly beneficial. You will have the ability to manage a diverse team, consistently striving for them to deliver their best and fulfill their potential; able to convert tax complexities into real business solutions; and the skills to influence numerous different level of seniority.
