
Transfer Pricing Director Job - Luxury Goods Sector (12mth FTC)
Incredible opportunity to lead a pivotal transfer pricing project with one of the UK's FTSE 100 luxury goods firms.
This is a high profile position and we are looking for someone who can combine extensive Transfer Pricing & Negotiating experience with the hands on approach to also get involved in the basics.
Whilst Technical expertise is a pre-requisite, equally important is your approach. Internally you should be easy to work with and create buy-in from your colleagues in what is a very collaborative and friendly environment. Externally you also need to be confident in managing meetings and agreeing APAs with tax authorities & Custom Duty across Asia. Although based from London and with global responsibility - the key is Asia and candidates who have experience of working or negotiating in these areas will be well regarded.
You should have a strong grasp of accounting principles (ideally ACA qualified or equivalent) and also have practical experience in addition to your time in the profession. Extensive transfer pricing is a must, experience with customs will be highly valued but we will consider candidates with all the right attributes who've only worked in financial services. Personality is also pivotal - after the initial 12mth project there is a significant chance of further work or being taken perm and we are looking for friendly but assertive individuals to fit long term with the business.
