- You can progress quicker than in Industry.
- The more you progress in Practice the fewer audits you get involved with – your role will become more advisory focused.

CA who stayed in Practice
- Assistant Manager after 1 year (£35k)
- Manager after 18 months (£45k)
- Associate Director after 18 months (£65k)
CA who moved to Industry
- Financial Manager after 2 years (£35k)
- Financial Controller after 4 year (£55k)
- Finance Director after 7 years (£70k)
Possible Positions:
- There are non-audit roles available. i.e. – Corporate finance/consulting/insolvency/forensics/transaction services.
- Don’t forget the work is also no longer monotonous and becomes more project based once you have finished your training contract.
