Wellcome Trust is a global health organization that sustains the best intelligence in biomedical and medical fields of study. Equivalent in size to a FTSE 100 company and founded by the pharmaceutical company which is today known as GlaxoSmithKline, it has gained a formidable presence as a world class promoter of UK scientific research.

The research they support into human and animal welfare has revolutionised our understanding of global diseases.
