Recruitment of a full Finance team (10+ roles)
On behalf of a rapidly expanding consultancy, our instruction was to support the newly appointed Finance Director in recruiting a full finance team. This consisted of a Commercial Finance Manager, Commercial Accountant, Management Accountant, Financial Accounting Manager (covering A/P & A/R), Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, Treasury Manager as well as numerous Interim roles.
Having been instructed to handle this recruitment alongside a competitor, we were successful in recruiting for all but one of the permanent and temporary roles that we had been instructed to fill.
Recruitment of a full Audit Team
Following a major acquisition Marks Sattin were instructed to recruit a UK Audit team for a large multi-national FMCG business. Following an initial consultation, a recruitment plan was put in place with agreed timescales for the successful completion of this assignment. We were able to manage the whole process on behalf of the client, which included conducting primary interviews and a national headhunt and search exercise. The client was able to interview candidates on site over two days and successfully appointed a Head of Audit, 2 Senior Auditors and an Internal Auditor.
Recruitment of Interim Financial Controller & Permanent Chief Finance Officer
As a consequence of Private Equity investment we were assigned the task to recruit a CFO for a rapidly expanding global healthcare business. Through our national network and a diligent search exercise we provided the client with 3 first class candidates, all of whom were taken through the recruitment process which also involved meeting the VC's. The successful permanent Chief Finance Officer appointment was made within 10 weeks, while an Interim Financial Controller was provided to assist with immediate projects and a subsequent handover.
Head of Investments £six figure role
Upon demonstrating our capabilities we were required to recruit a Head of Investments for a leading Financial Services employer on a retained basis. Having captured the brief and agreed timescales, we were able to conduct a national search as well as managing a national advertising campaign. Interviews were held in London and Leeds on behalf of the client and shortlist was presented to the client, which led to the successful placement.
