Tackling Business with Matt Dawson and Tim Rodber

Last week we hosted a senior finance event at Gaucho in central London which was attended by over 100 CFOs and finance directors. Our clients enjoyed a relaxed and informal evening with good food, plenty of wine and a captivating talk with rugby legends, Matt Dawson and Tim Rodber. Matt and Tim talked to us about the synergies between the sports dressing room and business motivation with some fascinating insights from the world of rugby including the game turning from amateur to professional, the winning mentality instilled by Sir Clive Woodward that resulted in lifting the World cup in 2003 and the 101%’ers that ultimately make all the difference. In summary, individual flair and brilliance are of course essential but it’s all about surrounding yourself with fantastic people to be truly successful!
