Internal Audit Roundtable

In Q2 2017, Marks Sattin organised an Internal Audit Roundtable at the DoubleTree Hotel in Leeds.

The event brought together Heads of Internal Audit and senior managers in internal audit, risk and compliance from a wide range of organisations across Yorkshire. These included Royal Mail, PwC, NISA, Costcutter, Anchor, Persimmon, Wilkos, Thebigword, ASDA and Morrisons. The discussion focused on the issues and challenges currently faced by internal auditors. 

The attendees talked about preparing for GDPR, cyber security, regulatory changes, auditing efficiencies staff, recruitment and retention issues, process mapping and effective risk register management.
